		<description>If there is one thing MSFT is good at when selling software is that they know how to have hurdled pricing. They get the most out of what a consumer is willing to pay (which is the whole idea) meaning they maximize profits. Apple having a single flat price might make sense from a consumer perspective, but from a business perspective (eg. from their perspective) they aren&#039;t maximizing income.

  You will likely see Vista range in price from $2.50 (Africa etc.) through to $900 (signature edition) and every step in between. Almost the same thing in each case but targetted at a specific group of users. You can&#039;t blanket 90% of the PC market with a single release and price point :)</description>
